Raed Yassin

Raed Yassin is a Lebanese artist and musician whose practice moves between sound, performance, video, installation, photography and text. As a musician he has been a central figure in Beirut's experimental scene and is one of the organisers of the Irtijal Festival.

On double bass he developed an extended language using preparations and objects, while his electronic and turntable work recontextualises popular and archival music. He is a founding member of A Trio and PRAED and founded the Annihaya music label in 2009.
