He's graduated in clarinet at the Art Academy in Novi Sad. In the crossover of various music genres, he managed to develop his own music style based on folk music, but, at the same time, including elements of classical and jazz music. Since 1995, Bogdan Rankovic performs on the international scene with Boris Kovac, and regularly plays in quintet Mezei Szilard.
He performed in Spain, Italy, Austria, Germany, Japan, France, Canada, Norvay, Russia, Sweden etc.
