Christoph Reiserer
Christoph Reiserer is a German saxophonist, composer, sound-installation artist and experimental performer born in Wasserburg am Inn in 1966. He studied musicology, music education and philosophy in Munich and Berlin and has developed projects combining acoustic instruments, electronics and conceptual performance.
His work includes installations that place musical machines alongside live performers, exploring how technology changes the responsibilities of musicians during performance. He has also played contemporary repertoire with classical ensembles and participated in improvising groups. His Creative Sources releases document an approach to sound that moves freely between saxophone technique, composition and interactive electronic processes.
