Lives in Zurich and Menzberg.
Clarinettist, improviser, musicteacher, composer. Workshops for improvisation. From 1977 onwards plays improvisation in various groups, in many different projects.
From 1982 onwards also solo performances. Many recordings of his work on LP and CD. Concerts in several european countries. Performed for radio and television. Received from Aargauer Kuratorium, Stadt Zürich, Kanton Zürich and several foundations. Composition award from WDR (92) and Pro Helvetia (00).
Prix Cultura from the Kiwanis Foundation (98). Award 2004 from the Society "economy and culture Willisau".
