Svein Magnus Furu has studied with Fredrik Ljungkvist, Morten Halle
and Ivar Grydeland at the Norwegian academy of Music. He has played
more than 100 concerts in 10 different countries with several bands
the last few years: Stian Around a Hill Quartet, Trabant,
Aphrodisiac, Fence, Diplodokus duo, kvartett og trio, Johannesen/Furu
duo, Fri ØKS and Brilliant Corners. He will be participating on four
records due to release in 2009, with SAHQ (AIM Sound City),
Johannesen Furu duo (Creative sources), Johannesen:Furu:Sandbakken
