Alberto Novello

Alberto Novello is an Italian experimental musician, multimedia artist and researcher who creates audiovisual performances with synthesisers, analogue electronics and laser light. His practice connects sound generation with geometric visual structures, often revealing similarities between musical waveforms and patterns of light.

He has developed installations, performances and recordings involving modular synthesis and handmade electronic systems. His Creative Sources release Odboqpo (CS685) documents his modular synthesiser work within the label's experimental catalogue. His projects extend beyond conventional concert performance, investigating perception and the relationship between listening, movement and visible electronic signals.
