Alvaro Rosso

Álvaro Rosso is a double bassist and improviser whose work is represented in Creative Sources recordings of experimental acoustic music. His instrument provides an extensive sound vocabulary, allowing musical exchanges to move between low resonance, melodic fragments and percussive string gestures.

Within freely improvised ensembles, the double bass can contribute to the collective development of form without assuming a permanent accompanying role. Rosso's recordings document this approach in collaboration with other musicians. The available sources establish his place in the label's catalogue, although information about his other projects and formal training still requires independent verification.
