Andrei Razin

Andrei Razin is a pianist credited on Ganglia (CS548), a Creative Sources recording. His piano performance brings the instrument's harmonic, percussive and resonant possibilities into a context of contemporary experimental music and collaborative improvisation.

The acoustic piano can contribute precise attacks, sustained resonance and overlapping registers, creating changing relationships with voices, percussion and other instruments. On Ganglia these resources take part in music shaped by the interaction of performers. The recording confirms Razin's contribution, but publicly available sources do not yet provide enough independent information to describe his wider professional biography.
