Claudia Ulla Binder

Claudia Ulla Binder is a pianist, improviser and composer based in Zürich whose work moves between improvised, contemporary and jazz practice.

Formative encounters at the Creative Music Studio in Woodstock in 1980 helped shape her open approach to genre; she later became active in Zürich’s improvised-music scene and the Workshop for Improvised Music.
