César Burago

César Burago is a percussionist closely associated with the music of Portuguese trumpeter and composer Sei Miguel.

His approach to small percussion uses isolated, precisely weighted sounds within highly spacious ensemble structures, giving percussion a melodic and architectural role rather than simply marking pulse.
