Diego Chamy

Diego Chamy is an Argentinian improviser and performance artist whose work has moved from instrumental free improvisation toward conceptual and interdisciplinary performance. His projects often examine presence, expectation and the conventions of musical performance itself. His earlier improvising work included collaborations with trumpeter Leonel Kaplan, while later pieces such as The Kōken Performance placed the act of listening, waiting and non-action at the centre of the performance.
