Franziska Baumann

Franziska Baumann is a Swiss singer, improviser, composer and sound artist working primarily with voice, gestural live electronics and sampled sound.

Her practice expands the acoustic voice through extended techniques and real-time digital processing. She has developed sensor-based performance systems that allow physical gesture to shape voice, sound and spatialisation during performance.
