Fernando Perales
Fernando Perales is an Argentine guitarist and improviser whose work centres on prepared electric guitar, amplification, electronic processing and the sonic possibilities of ordinary objects. Growing up around an industrial workshop, he developed a performance language influenced by metal tools, friction, unstable sound and alternative methods of exciting the strings.
His projects include Viva La Muerte, Doble Cuarteto and collaborations with clarinetist Luis Conde. Creative Sources released Siete Colores (CS355), a trio with prepared guitarist Abdul Moimême and violist Ernesto Rodrigues. The recording documents his approach to guitar as a resonating object within collective electroacoustic improvisation.
