Filipe Murat

Filipe Murat is a violinist appearing on Tellurium (CS500), released by Creative Sources. His contribution forms part of an acoustic experimental recording in which bowed strings interact with other instrumental sounds to create evolving textures and spontaneous musical structures.

The violin can occupy a range of roles in such music, from sustained harmonic colours and melodic gestures to bow noise and percussive articulations. The album credits identify Murat's presence on this release; reliable independent material about his musical studies, other projects or current artistic activity has not yet been established.
