Fumio Okura

Fumio Okura is a violinist credited on Your Dramatic Joy (CS793), released by Creative Sources. The album documents violin performance within an experimental setting where acoustic gestures and the relationship between musicians help determine the form of the music.

The violin offers a broad range of resources, from sustained and plucked tones to more fragile bow articulations. Okura's participation in this recording belongs to Creative Sources' ongoing documentation of acoustic improvisation. Independent sources currently provide insufficient information to present a reliable account of his wider artistic career, so this biography remains focused on the verified release.
