Isabelle Duthoit

Isabelle Duthoit is a French vocalist, clarinetist and improviser. Classically trained at the CNSM in Lyon, she moved early toward contemporary music and free improvisation.

Over many years she has developed a highly personal vocal technique that treats the voice as pre-verbal sound. Her work also includes collaborations across the international experimental-music scene and continued clarinet performance.
