Jacques Demierre

Jacques Demierre is a Swiss pianist, composer and improviser whose work moves between acoustic and electroacoustic music, notated composition, free improvisation and sound poetry.

His practice extends the piano's sonic possibilities while investigating the relationships between music, language, everyday sound and interdisciplinary performance.
