Konni Behrendt

Konni Behrendt is a German guitarist working across jazz, improvised music and groove-oriented contemporary projects. His playing moves between electric-guitar texture, open improvisation and ensemble music, with a strong interest in timbre and collective interaction.

He is active in projects including Jo Aldinger’s Downbeatclub and the improvising trio Palawa. On Creative Sources, Palawa’s lichtexzesse documents Behrendt alongside alto saxophone and percussion in a compact electroacoustic setting.
