Marcel·lí Bayer is a Barcelona-based multi-instrumentalist and improviser active on saxophones, clarinets, flutes and small electronic instruments. His work moves between jazz, improvised music and contemporary projects, and he has been closely involved with Barcelona’s exploratory music scene as both performer and educator.

He teaches at Taller de Músics and currently works in projects including Tàlveg, Seward and collaborations with artists such as Núria Graham, Albert Cirera, Amidea Clotet and Oriol Sauleda. His releases as a leader include Nonitz featuring Lee Konitz, 1680, Niketchrin for Creative Sources, Two Horses, La Hilatura and The Brightest Point (2024).
