Markus Eichenberger
Markus Eichenberger (born 1957 in Aarau) is a Swiss clarinetist, improviser and composer based between Zürich and Menzberg. Since 1977 he has worked almost exclusively in improvised music, with clarinet as his principal instrument.
His long-term work includes duos with Daniel Studer, Christoph Gallio and Alfred Zimmerlin, as well as the quartet Werckmeister. He has performed widely across Europe, North America and the Middle East.
