Peter Baumgartner

Peter Baumgartner (born 1967 in Switzerland) is a computer musician, sound poet and writer. After self-directed studies in literature, music and the human sciences, he began working intensively with sound poetry in the 1990s and with computer music around 1999.

His practice has included solo work, sound installations and a long-running duo with Christoph Schiller, as well as writing on experimental, improvised, composed and electronic contemporary music. Creative Sources documents the Baumgartner–Schiller duo on savagnières.
