Pablo Orza

Pablo Orza is a Galician visual artist and self-taught multi-instrumentalist whose musical practice centres on free improvisation. He works with prepared electric guitar, voice and objects, exploring the relationships between electroacoustic textures, minimalism, noise, drone and unplanned musical events.

He helped develop the Centro de Novas Tecnoloxías do Pico Sacro, a collective involved in the experimental scene around Santiago de Compostela. He participated in the formation of the Orquestra de Música Espontánea de Galicia and has performed with 23RedAnts since 2012. His Creative Sources recordings reflect a close connection between sound research and artistic collaboration.
