Pedro Santo

Pedro Santo is a drummer and percussionist represented in the Creative Sources catalogue on CS406, CS474, CS494 and CS527. His playing contributes acoustic percussion to experimental ensembles concerned with collective listening, changing dynamics and the development of musical form during performance.

Working with drums and additional percussion, a performer can shape music through contrasting attacks, rhythmic movement and the resonance of different materials. These resources allow the instrument to meet strings, reeds and electronics without a fixed accompanying function. Santo's four documented releases establish his activity within this network of improvised projects, while further individual career details remain to be verified.
