Robert Dick
Robert Dick (born 1950 in New York) is a flutist, composer, improviser, teacher and instrument innovator whose work has radically expanded the contemporary sonic vocabulary of the flute.
His practice joins contemporary classical music, free improvisation, jazz and influences from world and electronic music. He also developed the Glissando Headjoint and has written widely used books on extended flute technique.
