Rachiim Sahu

Rachiim Sahu is a percussionist credited in Creative Sources' catalogue of contemporary improvised and experimental music. His work contributes to ensembles where rhythm, resonance and sound colour play an active role in the spontaneous development of form.

Percussion offers a wide variety of musical gestures, from small resonating attacks and unusual timbres to stronger rhythmic articulation. These contrasting materials can respond freely to instruments with very different acoustic qualities. Sahu's documented performance belongs to that collective approach, although independent information about his wider artistic career is currently limited.
