Sascha Demand

Sascha Demand (born 1971) is a German guitarist and composer active in contemporary and improvised music. He co-founded the improvisation ensemble beside the cage in 1992 and has worked in ensemble and solo settings.

Creative Sources documented both his solo electric-guitar work and the long-running beside the cage project, where his guitar operates within a collective language of composed and improvised music.
