Toshimaru Nakamura
Toshimaru Nakamura is a Japanese improviser who pioneered the no-input mixing board as a self-contained electronic instrument, generating feedback and circuitry-based sound without an external audio source.
Since the mid-1990s he has performed internationally as a soloist and collaborator, becoming a central figure in electroacoustic improvisation and the experimental music scene around Tokyo.
