Wolfgang Seidel

Wolfgang Seidel is a German drummer, percussionist and experimental musician known for his involvement in early German experimental rock and free improvisation. He was associated with the group Ton Steine Scherben and later developed projects that move between acoustic percussion, electronics and sound installations.

His playing investigates rhythm as well as the physical properties of cymbals, drum surfaces and other materials, often bringing unconventional objects into improvised encounters.
