Yannick Barman

Yannick Barman is a Swiss trumpeter, composer and electronic musician from Valais whose work moves between jazz, contemporary music, improvisation and electronic sound design. He combines acoustic trumpet with sampling, computer processing and composed electronic structures, transforming the instrument into an extended electroacoustic system.

His current projects include the long-running KiKu with Cyril Regamey and his solo electronic project STALKER. Barman received the City of Monthey cultural prize in 2022 and remains active across performance, installation and interdisciplinary work, with new appearances and projects presented in Switzerland in 2026.
